Little treasures of my trip

Todo lo bueno se acaba y mi viaje llegó y pasó... muy rápido, pero ha sido muy intenso también. Hablaré más de él, que hay muchas cosas que contar, pero de momento os dejo con mis pequeños tesoros de ese viaje, para que os vayáis haciendo a la idea de cómo fue...

All the good things come to an end and my trip arrived and passed... very quickly, but it was really intense too. I'll talk more about the trip, a lot of things to tell, but right now I left you with my little treasures of that trip, so you can figure out how it went...

Mi bolso nuevo, el mío era demasiado pequeño, y mis gafas de D&G de Chinatown, es que se me rompieron las mías... / My new bag, mine was too small, and my D&G glasses from Chinatown, my sun glasses broke...

Una foto de Nueva York que compré allí (3 dólares), intento comprar siempre alguna de los sitios donde voy para llevármela conmigo a casa y recordar el viaje / One pic of New York that I bought there (3 dollars), I try to buy always one pic from every trip to take back with me at home and remember the trip.

Visité una fantástica libreria (gracias Ali por la recomendación), Strands, y no me pude resistir, me llevé tres libros y una bolsita monísima / I was in a very great book store (thanks Ali for the recommendation) and I coudn't resist, I bought three books and a cute bag too...

Mi maleta vintage... no es muy vintage que digamos, pero la palabra salió mucho durante el viaje, tuve que comprar una para traer todos los regalos y quería que fuera diferente / My vintage suitcase... it isn't very vintage, but this word was very used during the trip, I had to buy one to put all the presents and I wanted to be different.

Y de Wilmington, me traje esto: una gorra de One Tree Hill, una camiseta y una claqueta de cine, además de una visita que no olvidaré jamás / And from Wilmington, North Carolina, I bring this: a cap of One Tree Hill, a T-shirt and a clapperboard, besides one visit that I'll never forget.

Me llevo muchas más cosas, unos guantes que me encontré en el suelo en Central Park, muchos nervios, muchas risas, recuerdos inolvidables, gente maravillosa, mi primer musical en Broadway, muchísimas fotos... en definitiva: un viaje que siempre llevaré en el corazón y que repetiría mañana si pudiera.

I take with me more things, a pair of gloves that I found in Central Park, a lot of nervous, a lot of laughs, unforgettable memories, wonderful people, my first musical on Broadway, a lot of pictures... in conclusion: a trip that I'll always take with me in my heart and that I would do it again tomorrow if I could.

Hoy me siento romántica y voy a hablar del amor... Llevo un tiempo pensando en esta entrada y por fin me he decidido a hacerla... Siempre he pensado que la elección de una canción dice mucho sobre una persona, y no es que yo tenga planeado casarme ni nada de eso (más bien no... :-)) pero ¿y si decidieráis casaros, por amor e ilusionados? Es típico elegir una canción para el "primer baile de los felices novios"... ¿qué canción sería? Os dejo las mías, y digo mías porque hasta hace poco tenía claro que alguna vez tuviera que elegirla, sería "Baby I love you" de la gran Aretha Franklin, pero recientemente he añadido una a la lista, "Can't take my eyes of you", versioneada por unos grandísimos Muse. Igual no son típicas para bailar "lento" pero son mis canciones, y yo las bailaría, y además quedaría bien fijo. Y ahora quiero que me contéis cuáles son las vuestras, sólo para que pueda conoceros un poquito más... Si ya estáis casados, también quiero oír que canción elegiste...

Spain with Southern Gothic Productions - with a little help from my friends

Pues aquí estoy de nuevo, esta vez para enseñaros un vídeo que hemos hecho Daiana y yo, sobre Southern Gothic Productions. Lo hicimos para un vídeo colectivo que están preparando desde el blog mostrando el apoyo a la compañía, y como los españoles queríamos estar presentes para que estos chicos sepan que aquí también tienen fans, pues nada, nos pusimos manos a la obra. El problema es que hemos hecho un vídeo muy largo, y sólo van a usar un trocito, pero como nos ha quedado tan chulo he decidido ponerlo aquí para que todos lo veais.
No vale reirse, que Daiana estudia filología y yo hago lo que puedo con el inglés, pero siempre está bien practicar, ¿no? Y gracias a esos fans españoles que nos han mandado su foto para que la incluyamos.
Y como no, hemos puesto una canción en el vídeo, esta vez The Beatles, y menudo tema... With a little help from my friends. Creo que tiene unas frases lapidarias que son completamente ciertas y con las que sobran más explicaciones: "tiraré para delante con un poco de ayuda de mis amigos", "me lo pasaré pipa con un poco de ayuda de mis amigos" y "lo intentaré con un poco de ayuda de mis amigos". Y luego la mítica: "¿Necesitas a alguien? Necesito a alguien a quien amar." Vamos, que esta canción es un homenaje a los amigos y a todo lo que hacen por nosotros. Yo tengo que decir que por suerte cuento con buenísimos amigos, así que amigos míos que os tomáis la molestia de leerme, esto va para todos vosotros: pase lo que pase, tiraré para delante con un poco de vuestra ayuda. Gracias.

Como voy a promocionar este vid entre toda la gente de SGP, voy a poner algo en inglés para ellos.

Hey Southern Gothic Productions fans... here we are, the spanish girls, giving you all of our support from this little (and sunny) country. We get crazy doing this vid and it's a little too long for Meg (sorry Meg) so she can't use all of it. But I'm very proud of the vid, I coudn't barely edit video but I was learning about it last week, and I think the vid is ok, so here it is, the uncensored spanish video about Southern Gothic Productions and their awesome team.
We've used a song from The Beatles, a song wich is a beautiful (and funny) tribute to frienship, we thought it fits the spirit of SGP... And in case that someone of the team see it, well, we want to thank you for letting all to be a part of this, it is a funny adventure. Oh, and as you can see on the vid, Elizabeth and I arent' the only ones who support you... a lot of crazy spanish people do it as well... Thanks Gema, Rosa, Ana, Irene, Nico and Leticia.
