I'm not feeling ok

Hacía mucho tiempo que no actualizaba, pero aquí voy. Vengo con "Please sister", una canción de The Cardigans que me encanta. Es de su álbum "Long gone before the daylight", mi favorito del grupo. Y la traigo por varias razones: quiere que le adivinen su futuro, y yo siempre he tenido fascinación por los adivinos que te leen el futuro, el estribillo es perfecto y es ideal para mí y la voz de Nina Parsons me encanta. Además, contiene una de las frases que más me han gustado de las que he leído en los últimos tiempos: "So if it's true, that love will never die, then why do the lovers work so hard to stay alive" ("Así que si es verdad que el amor nunca muere, entonces por qué los amantes trabajan tan duro por seguir vivos"), ahí queda eso...ja.

It's been a long time since the last blog, but here I am. I come with "Please sister", a song from The Cardigans that I love. It's from their album "Long gone before the daylight", my favourite of the band. And I bring this song for several reason: she wants to know her future, and I've always had fascination for the fortune tellers, the chorus is perfect and it's ideal for me and I really love the voice of Nina Parsons. Besides, the lyrics have one of the most clever and beautiful phrases that I've read lately: "So if it's true, that love will never die, then why do the lovers work so hard to stay alive", here you have this...ja.

I don't want to be (viaje por Wilmington - trip to Wilmington)

Como una imagen (y una canción) vale más que mil palabras, os dejo unos vídeos que he hecho sobre nuestro corto pero intenso viaje a Wilmington. Son cuatro, y tengo más imágenes, pero creo que con esto podéis ver lo bien que nos lo pasamos allí y lo bonito que es. Los tres últimos vídeos van con canciones, como no, estas son: "I don't want to be", de Gavin DeGraw (tema del opening de One Tree Hill), "Love will come through", de Travis y "Hands down", de Dashboard Confessional, tres canciones geniales que han salido en One Tree Hill. Espero que os gusten...

Because a image (and a song) worth more than thousend words, I've made a few videos about our short, but intense, trip to Wilmington. There are four, and I have more images, but I think that with that you can see how much fun we had there and how beautiful was. The last three vids came with songs, of course, these are: "I don't want to be", by Gavin DeGraw (song from the opening of One Tree Hill), "Love will come through", by Travis and "Hands down", by Dashboard Confessional, three great songs that are in One Tree Hill too. Guys and Dolls baby...

Otro pequeño post sobre mi viaje y en este caso, un momento fan total. Fuimos a ver un musical en Broadway, Guys and Dolls, y una de las protagonistas era Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), una de mis actrices de series favoritas. El musical fue genial, muy divertido, y como habíamos visto la película antes pues nos pudimos enterar de todo. Nos quedamos allí una vez que terminó para ver si podíamos conseguir una foto con Lauren y con alguno de los actores, con la cámara preparada y esperando tener suerte... y la tuvimos.
Another little post about my trip and in this case, a fan moment. We went to see a musical on Broadway, Guys and Dolls, and one of the lead characters was played by Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), one of my favourites TV actress. The musical was great, very funny, and we could understand almost all of it because we watched the movie Guys and Dolls first in Spain. We stayed there when the musical finished because we wanted to take a picture with Lauren and the other actors, with our cameras ready and hoping for any luck... and we had luck.
Os dejo un vídeo que mi amiga Harmony grabó y que he cogido de su blog (¿a qué esperáis para visitarla?) y otro vídeo que grabó otra amiga, Althus, de cuando nos hicimos la ansiada foto con Lauren.
I let you a video that my friend Harmony recorded and I took it from her blog (what are you waiting to visit her?) and another video that recorded other friend, Althus, of the moment that we took the famous picture with Lauren.
En este primer vídeo me podéis oír a mí diciendo la famosa frase: we've come from Spain only to see you!!! a la que Lauren amablemente responde, y pidiéndole que si nos podíamos hacer una foto con ella. La frase tuvo su gracia y como fue exitosa, se la repetimos a otro de los protas de la obra, Craig Bierko, majísimo por cierto.
In this first vídeo you can hear me saying the famous phrase: we've come from Spain only to see you!!! and Lauren kindly asnwers... And then I asked her if we could took a picture with her. The line was a total success, so I repeated it to another character of the play, the actor Craig Bierko, very kind with us by the way.

En el segundo vídeo se oye cómo le pido a Lauren que le diga hola a España, y ella dice: Hi Spain... Fue muy guay, luego todos ahí emocionados ahí gritando porque nos habíamos hecho la foto y porque somos españoles, ¡¡¡qué leches!!! y los españoles armamos jaleo allá donde vamos... ja,ja,ja... Y os dejo la foto también, la prueba de que nuestra misión tuvo éxito...
In the second video you can hear how I ask Lauren to say hi to Spain, and she says: Hi Spain... It was cool, then all of us there exited and yelling because we took the picture and because we are spanish, what the hell-ick!!! and spanish people are noisy and scandallous (in the good way) wherever they are... ja,ja,ja... and I leave you the picture too, the proof that our mission had success....
